Ben Woodring is an M&A Associate at Next Point, where he supports buy-side clients in identifying, evaluating, and pursuing strategic acquisition opportunities.

Ben brings experience across legal, financial, and research-driven roles, with a strong track record of managing time-sensitive projects that require attention to detail and consistent follow-through. He previously supported the Next Point team in a part-time capacity and now works more closely with the team as he deepens his experience in the M&A space.

A Rochester native, Ben earned his degree in Criminology from Penn State University and is currently pursuing his MBA at Rochester Institute of Technology.

Outside of work, Ben enjoys the outdoors, live music, and playing guitar. He is also a proud supporter of THON, Penn State’s student-run philanthropic organization.
